INGRID Crutch
- Boost your independence and self-esteem
INGRID Crutch is a result of a team effort of
Swedish physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons
and ergonomic design experts to develop a crutch
especially designed for those that have to take
short steps – whether young or old, whether
needing one or two crutches and whether the
need is temporary or permanent.
INGRID Crutch has
several key features
which improve the
user's mobility without
the associated painful
pressure, as compared
to traditional products.

Its most unique feature
is the angular
relationship between
its forearm support
and main support
shaft, allowing the
forearm to absorb a
greater share of the
user's weight reducing
or eliminating painful
pressure to the hands.
Unlike traditional devices, the
INGRID Crutch is equipped with an
adjustable elastic strap over the
forearm which, without putting the
crutch down, frees its user's hands
for day-to-day activities.
INGRID Crutch will allow its user to stand upright,
as compared to being bent over a walker, and
thereby provide one with a greater sense of
well-being, instilling confidence and boosting
self-esteem.
The exaggerated elbow angle of INGRID Crutch
enhances the user's balance and ability to
navigate stairways.
INGRID Crutch is not intended for short-term users requiring a swing-through
gait (e.g. broken leg cast).
